Mr. Saglimben was a great person, principal and friend. Kim and I would see him and always stop to check on us and see how we were doing. Mr. Saglimben would always discuss our high school times and ask about other classmates. He kept up with asking about family and always was not in a rush and just so easy to talk with . Best principal and great relationship with students. R.I.P. Sag

My thoughts and prayers are with you all today. My thoughts lead me to our youth and the days spent with the Saglimben family. Mr. Sag was truly larger than life! He was always positive and upbeat in my childhood, and when my family would visit in my teen years, he would always welcome me and ask how my parents were, and how the basketball was in Arizona. I pulled into the Elm Street driveway one afternoon to see Mike and Brian, and he wanted to show me his dance moves to Playih With the Queen of Hearts, which was on the radio. Of course, I told him they were solid moves. His teaching stayed with me during my coaching years, and hundreds of my players were taught to shoot as he had taught me. Like Obes said, "top of the front." I cherish my childhood memories and Mr. Sag and the Saglimben family is a huge part of those memories. My prayers are with you all.

Wow what can be said about Mr. Sag! He was such a kind man, so full of life and love. I had the pleasure to spend so much time growing up at the Saglimben house hanging with Brian and Mike. Carl and Rose were so welcoming that I always felt like one of the family. They were so kind to call me 3 years ago when my Mom passed. Mr. Sag was also a wonderful teacher. Many of us still talk today about his shooting lectures from basketball camp - "Top of the front." My sincere condolences to Mrs. Sag, Karen, Mark, Mike and Brian.
