I dearly loved Jeanne and Jake, and as a child I cherished my summers in Allegany and wished that they were my parents and that I live there year round. I guess partially because of the age difference between me and my parents. I had so many "firsts" such as learning how to ride a bike on that cinder half circle between your parents and grandparents homes. Learning how to ride a horse with Donna Hughes and going up the mountain, picking berries, my first pizza, grading eggs with your great-grandfather, watching your grandmother kill a chicken for dinner, having corn on the cobb or strawberry shortcake for the whole dinner. Making dollclothes on the treadle machine for Sue Where did the years go? I love all of you. Ann
