Obituary of Trelease Langdon

Trelease D. "Teedy" Langdon "Beloved member of the Cutco family" Olean, NY-Trelease D."Teedy" Langdon of 110 W. Water St. died Tuesday (January 26, 2010) in the Olean General Hospital. Born November 15, 1918 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Lew and Ethel Rowe Langdon. Miss Langdon was a lifelong resident of Olean and graduated from Olean High School. She had a long career spanning 40 years as an executive secretary to four previous presidents of Cutco Manufacturing Co. in Olean. She was a valued member of the Cutco family of employees and she enjoyed keeping in touch with her many friends from work. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family whom they will remember as being very generous to others in need. Surviving are 1 cousin Jeffrey (Lisa) Beaver of Olean and their 3 children Hunter, Colton and Brianna. She was predeceased by a brother William Langdon and a cousin Carol Beaver. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Thursday (January 28, 2010) from 2-4pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00pm in the funeral home. Rev. Alexandra Freer, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cuba, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA 2944 Olean Hinsdale Rd. Olean, NY 14760 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
