Obituary of Thomas D. Lemon

Thomas D. Lemon Allegany, NY-- Thomas D. Lemon of 2349 Five Mile Rd. died Sunday (April 27, 2003) in Maryvale Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Born March 10, 1954 in Olean, NY he was the son of Alfred L. and Maxine F. Karl Lemon. Mr. Lemon was a graduate of Allegany Central School and had attended Alfred University. He was then employed for over 25 years for Dresser Rand until Ocober of 2000. Surviving are his maternal grandmother Margaret Karl of Allegany; a son Lee T. Lemon of Allegany and a daughter Gretchen Lemon of Raleigh, NC; 7 brothers and sisters including Sharon (Rick) Piscitelli of Guthrie, Oklahoma, David Lemon of Parker, Colorado, Alfred (Pam) Lemon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Edward Lemon of Allegany, NY, William (Connie) Lemon of Goodyear, Arizona, Judy (Ted) Potter of Allegany and Karen (Chris) Sweeney of Archdale, North Carolina and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will be held Saturday (May 3, 2003) beginning with a prayer service at 12:30pm in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Richard Husted, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
