Great Valley-- Patrick F. Spehar of 5146 Humphrey Road, passed away Friday (December 4, 2009) at his home, after a brief illness.
Born October 17, 1944 in Bradford PA, he was the son of Carl and Violet Anderson Spehar. On June 15, 1968 in St. Pacificus Church, he married Sandra Bingerman who survives.
Mr. Spehar had received his Associates Degree in design drafting from Penn State University. He was employed for many years at the Olean Tile Plant as a design draftsman. He was a member of St. Pacificus Church and in his free time Patrick enjoyed gardening.
Surviving besides his wife are 1 daughter Penny (Terry) Clancy of W. Seneca; 1 son Glenn (Cherie) Spehar of Apex, NC; 5 grandchildren Victoria, Nicholas, Jonathan Clancy of W. Seneca, Gabrielle and Owen Spehar of Apex, NC; 1 brother Carl (Sandy) Spehar Jr., of Custer City, PA, 1 sister Patricia (Robert) Grennan of Greece, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean.
