Helen V. Potter
Olean, NY—Helen V. Potter, formerly of 1513 W. State St. died Sunday (May 25, 2008) in the Absolut of Salamanca after a long illness.
Born May 20, 1914 in Dubois, PA she was the daughter of William A. and Edith P. Shaffer Rebling. In 1950 she married Leslie C. Potter who predeceased her August 25, 1977.
Mrs. Potter was raised in !DuBois and later attended Salamanca High School. She was a member of the Olean Church of the Nazarene and the American Association of Retired People.
Surviving are 1 sister Arlene Kenny of Salamanca and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 3 sisters Mary !McKee, Lola Muffie and Faye Bednar and 1 brother Robert C. Rebling.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday (May 28, 2008) from 9 until 10:30am at which time funeral and committal services will be held. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the SPCA 1644 Olean Hinsdale Rd. Olean, NY 14760 or to the Olean Church of the Nazarene 103 Jefferson Olean, NY 14760.
