“Loving Mom, Grandma and Sister”
Allegany, NY-- Alice M. Kirtz, passed away Tuesday (December 9, 2008) at the home of her sister Diane, with her loving family by her side.
Born January, 1 1957 in Salamanca, she was the daughter of Wellington M. Hurd and E. Carol Bullock Reese.
Ms. Kirtz attended Salamanca City Schools. She enjoyed motorcycles, dancing and she loved meeting new people.
Surviving are three children Duane (Rebecca) Hurd of Allegany, Chad Hurd of Buffalo, Crystal Kirtz of Niagara Falls; 3 sisters Carol (Bob) Light of Salamanca, Gigi (Dave) Winchell of Allegany, Diane (Dave) Ball of Allegany; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; 1 brother Michael Hurd and1 sister Tina Hurd.
Friends will be received at Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road on Friday from 10-11am at which time funeral services will begin. Rev. Ken Tesch, pastor of the Free Methodist Church in Allegany will officiate. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley.
