VIVIAN A. ROTHLEDER OLEAN - Vivian A. Rothleder of Kingston Street died Saturday December 14, 2002 after a brief illness. Born in Lakewood, NJ on October 28, 1916 she was the daughter of Edward and Mary Broadhead Smith. On May 29, 1937 in Olean she married William F. Rothleder who predeceased her December 19, 1984. Mrs. Rothleder was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Olean. She volunteered for various local organizations including the American Red Cross and the Olean General Auxiliary. Vivian enjoyed her friends and neighbors and especially her family. She is survived by a son William (Deborah) Rothleder; two grandchildren, Scott Rothleder and Beth (Dan) Adams and a great grand daughter, Mackenzi Adams, all of Olean; a brother, Elmer Smith of Fern Park, FL and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Smith in 1987. There will be no public visitations. Private funeral services will be held at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean with Rev. Gary Larson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Laurens Street, Olean.
