Olean, NY—Pearl Marie Kio of 328 N. 8th St. died peacefully Monday (January 8, 2007) at her home while surrounded by her family.
Born May 11, 1937 in Port Allegany, PA she was the daughter of Byron and Etha Hayes Kio.
Mrs. Kio was a former resident of Roulette, PA and had resided in Olean since 1974. She was a homemaker who enjoyed visiting and staying with her family. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren.
Surviving are 1 daughter Debbie Link of Olean; 3 sons David Link, Douglas Link and Dennis Link, all of Olean; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 brothers Phil Kio, Roland Kio and Paul Kio; 1 sister Ellen White and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday (January 10, 2007) from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at which time funeral services will be held. Rev. Joseph S. Smith, associate pastor of Southside Union Chapel in Olean, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
