Ethel M. Ellis Bolivar, NY—Ethel M. Ellis of 720 S. Bolivar Rd. died Tuesday (April 24, 2007) in Highland Health Care Center. Born May 30, 1944 in Port Allegany, PA she was the daughter of Albert and Marion Hewitt Hamilton. On September 14, 1985 in Little Genesee, NY after being in a longtime relationship with one another, she married Edward N. Ellis who predeceased her June 26, 1996. Mrs. Ellis was a resident of the Bolivar area for many years and had also resided in Zephyr Hills, FL. She was a homemaker. Surviving are a son Norman B. (Sonya) Ellis of Bolivar; 2 daughters Corena (John) Wedge and Cyndi (Burt) Densmore, both of Bolivar; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law Bill Burlew of Allentown and a sister-in-law Nancy Hamilton of Olean. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday (April 27, 2007) from 11:00am until time of services at 1:00pm. Rev. Sean Obergfell, associate pastor of Heritage Aflame Ministries, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to Allegany County Cancer Services 3453B State Route 417E Wellsville, NY 14895.
