Obituary of Janet L. Clark

Janet L. Clark “loving mom, grandma and sister” Olean—Janet L. Clark of 312 N. 9th St. Olean passed away Tuesday July 17, 2007 at the Buffalo General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. Born January 24, 1945 in White Plains, NY she was the daughter of Matilda Simmons. Ms. Clark was a graduate of Cuba High School and Olean Business Institute. She was a former member of the Living Waters Church in Olean. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved to spend time with her family especially her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed her dogs and doing crafts especially knitting and quilting. Surviving are three children Darlene (Oscar) Cleveland of Olean, Debbie (Rick) !McFall of Olean, and Charles (Ann) Clark of North Carolina; a sister Laura Ruether of Allegany, two brothers Art (Yvonne) Simmons of Whitesville, NY and Wendall (Erma) Poor of Spring TX; 2 grandsons; 6 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mom and a niece Lezlie Clements. Friends will be received at Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road, Olean on Saturday from 2pm until the time of funeral services at 4pm. Rev. Frank Hayman will officiate. Burial will be at Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica. Memorials if desired may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 5005 LBJ Fwy. Ste 250 Dallas TX, 75244
