Obituary of Barbara Jean Wright

Barbara Jean Wright Annandale, VA- Barbara Jean Wright, 42, a former resident of Allegany, NY died Tuesday December 17, 2002 in Falls Church, Va. Born July 12, 1960 she was the daughter of John and Irene Gaston. On June 24, 1995 she married Ted Wright who survives. Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Allegany Central High School in 1978 and later received her BSN degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1982. Her career locally included emergency room nursing at Olean General Hospital and caring for the disabled at The Rehabilitation Center in Allegany. More recently in the Washington, DC area her work was in medical case management with the Visiting Nurses Association of Northern Virginia, Sibley Hospital, and theINOVA Healthcare System in Alexzandria, Fairfax, and Mt. Vernon, Va. She was a registered nurse and certified case manager. Surviving are her husband of Annandale and her parents of Allegany; 1 sister Bonny Gaston of Alexandria, VA.; 1 brother John (Ellen) Gaston of Houston, TX; 1 niece Lauren Gaston; 1 nephew Grant Gaston; a sister-in-law Darlene Waterfield and a brother-in-law Dave Waterfield, both of Manassas, Va. Funeral services will be held Monday (December 23, 2002) at 11:00am in St. John's Lutheran Church, 36 N. 4th St. Allegany. Rev. Gerard leFeber, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
