Obituary of Margaret F. Wright

Margaret F. Wright Olean – Margaret F. Wright of North Union Street died Sunday January 1, 2006 at her residence. Born in Buffalo, NY on February 23, 1916 she was the daughter of William F. and Marie C. Young. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School in Buffalo. Ms. Wright attended Transfiguration Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and she loved her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons Howard Robert (Christine) Wright of Lockport NY, William Francis Wright and Steven Alan Wright, both of Olean; three daughters Leila Mae (Harry) Harris of Lancaster NY, Pamela Margaret (Kenneth) Knox of Hendersonville, NC and Beverly Ann Marks of Portland OR; two step-children Robert (Charlotte) Wright of Arizona and Richard Wright of Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and special friends Alex Savovic of Olean and Sean Reed of Utica NY, Donna Hollowell of Allegany and the Whelpley family. She was predeceased by a son Clifford L. Wright in 2003. Friends will be received on Wednesday January 4, 2006 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Fr. Jerome Stelmach, pastor of Transfiguration Church will officiate. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY. Memorials may be made to the SPCA in Cattaraugus County.
