Obituary of Bette F. Peasley

Bette F. Peasley Olean – Betty F. Peasley of Front Street, Olean died Saturday January 21, 2006 at the Waters of Allegany. Born in Hazlehurst, PA on June 7, 1924 she was a daughter of Bert and Mae !DeShetler Farner. On July 31, 1943 in Cuba she married Walter Peasley who survives. Mrs. Peasley loved gardening and flowers. She and her husband enjoyed traveling by RV with their dog. Bette loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Linda !McJury of Hammondsport NY, Judy (Larry) Carr of Hinsdale and Diane (Ron) Hamed of Portville NY; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Ruth Marvin. There will be no public visitations. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery, Cuba, NY. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral; Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
