Obituary of Sandra N. Petrovick

Sandra N. "Sandi" Petrovick "Avid St. Bona Basketball Fan" Allegany, NY– Sandra N. "Sandi" Petrovick of 2167 Klice Crossroad died Monday (March 6, 2006) in St. Joseph Manor Olean following a lengthy illness. Born September 24, 1943 in Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY she was the daughter of John and Edythe Bigoney !MacConnach. On October 8, 1990 she married David Gee who predeceased her January 16, 1994. On September 19, 1998 in Geneseo, NY she married Edward Petrovick who survives. Mrs. Petrovick was a 1961 graduate of Maryvale High School in Cheektowaga and she attended Cortland State College. She had been employed as the manager of Rite Aid Pharmacy in Allegany for many years and also worked for the NYS Dept. Of Motor Vehicles in Olean. She most recently worked as the manager of the CVS store in Olean prior to her retirement. She was a member and past president of the Allegany Historical Association and also belonged to the Sixty Plus Club of Allegany. Surviving in addition to her husband are her mother Edythe Mayberger of Olean; a stepmother Marion !MacConnach of West Seneca, NY; 1 son Michael (Karen) Shea of Palmdale, CA; 1 daughter Laurie Ramire of Olean; 1 stepson Mark Petrovick of Penfield, NY; 1 stepdaughter Trish (Tommy) Galeotti of Coudersport, PA; 2 step grandchildren and 1 sister Judi (Trevor) Blank of Central Point, OR. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral and committal services will be held Friday (March 10, 2006) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Rev. Max Meyers will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
