DAVID MEYERS
OLEAN - David Meyers of Kingston Drive died Saturday July 12, 2003 at the Jewish Home of Central New York in Syracuse at the age of 85. Mr. Meyers was the President of Olean Steel Sales and Service. He was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel and B'Nai Brith. He married Doreen Zukerman who predeceased him in 1968.
He is survived by a son Samuel Meyers; two daughters, Elaine Meyers - Matloff and Joan Meyers - Levy; a step daughter, Robin Conwit Wagman; brother Abraham Meyers; sisters Bernadine Rabin, Bernice Bussell and Elise Linder and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean on Monday July 14, 2003 from 1-2 PM at which time funeral services will be conducted. Rabbi Charles Shalman will officiate. Burial will follow at B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to B'Nai Israel Cemetery, 127 South Barry Street, Olean, NY 14760.
