Ford F. Ruggieri
Olean, NY—Ford F. Ruggieri of Olean died Wednesday (September 6, 2006) at home.
Born December 7, 1934 in Buffalo, NY he was a son of Louis L. and Mary Kelly Ruggieri. He was married to the former Helen Mitchell who survives.
Mr. Ruggieri served with the US Army and graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1962. He worked as a printer and publisher at Allegany Mountain Press, retiring ten years ago.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters Maria (Mark) Moen of East Lyme, CT and Andrea Ruggieri of Olean; a son Ford M. (Rachael) Ruggieri of North Syracuse, NY; 3 grandchildren Alexandria Moen, Connor Moen and James Ruggieri and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 2 sisters Mary Zita Nicoletta of Allegany and Irene Swiderski of Yardley, PA.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Saturday (September 9, 2006) at 11:00am. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations can be made to the Friends of the Olean Public Library or to the Robert Laing Creative Arts Awards, Bradford Educational Foundation 300 Campus Dr. Bradford, PA 16701.
