Tina Irene Hurd
“Loving mother, sister, friend”
Allegany, NY—Tina Irene Hurd of 3974 Rte 417 died Sunday (December 24, 2006) at the home of her sister Diane with her family by her side.
Born January 15, 1959 in Salamanca, NY she was the daughter of Wellington M. Hurd and Carol E. Bullock Reese.
Ms. Hurd attended school in Bradford, PA and resided in Kenton, Ohio most of her adult life. She moved to Allegany several years ago and had been employed by the Holiday Inn Express in Salamanca up until the onset of her illness.
She will be remembered as a hard working person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are 1 daughter Shelby Hurd of Allegany; 4 sisters Carol (Bob) Light of Salamanca, Alice Kirtz of Olean, Gigi (Dave) Winchell of Allegany, Diane (Dave) Ball of Allegany and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by 1 brother Mike Hurd in 1994.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday (December 28, 2006) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in !McKean Memorial Park, Lafeyette, PA. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
