Rochester, NY-- Paul R. !VanDyke, formerly of Olean, NY, died Wednesday (August 20, 2003) in Rochester General Hospital.
Born June 9, 1925 in Bradford, PA he was the son of J. Layton and !LeOun B. Kinney !VanDyke.
Mr. !VanDyke was raised in Bradford and later served in the US Army during WWII. He was a longtime resident of Olean and was a former member of the Olean Masonic Lodge 252 F&AM. He worked for over 30 years for the former Blue Bird Coach Lines as a tour bus operator. He later moved to Rochester, NY where he had resided for over 15 years prior to his death.
Surviving are 1 son Todd (Diane) !VanDyke of Allegany; 3 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
At Mr. !VanDyke’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean, NY.
