Joseph F. Farleo
Kennesaw, GA--Joseph F. Farleo of 4150 George Busbee Parkway Apt. 210 died Monday (May 2, 2005).
Born March 16, 1939 in Olean, NY he was the son of Joseph and Marie Riordan Farleo. On March 7, 1959 at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany he married Janet Hirsch who survives.
Mr. Farleo was a 1958 graduate of Allegany High School. He formerly lived in Olean, then later in Portville from 1973 until 1995 at which time he moved to Atlanta, GA.
Surviving besides his wife are 4 children Julie (Chris) Pikulski of Olean, Joan (Steve) Rubin of Frisco, TX, Joe (Dorothy) Farleo of Marietta, GA and Jennifer (Jim) Callan of El Paso, TX; 9 grandchildren; 2 brothers Don Farleo of Binghamton, NY and Fr. Brennan Joseph (Bill) Farleo, OFM, Conv. of Seaside Park, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Friday (May 6, 2005) at 10:00am in St. Bonaventure Church, Allegany. Fr. Brennan Joseph Farleo, OFM will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Local arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
