Obituary of Alberta P. Beaver

ALBERTA P. BEAVER Bingo And Euchre Lover OLEAN - Alberta P. Beaver, a resident of the Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility, died Saturday September 6, 2003 at the Olean General Hospital. Born in Olean on December 2, 1919 she was a daughter of Albert and Beatrice Burton Cousins. On February 17, 1941 in Olean she married Harry Beaver who predeceased her October 8, 1983. Mrs. Beaver was an avid bingo and euchre player. She is survived by five sons, Harry (Gretchen) Beaver of Kendall, NY, Charles (Linda) Beaver of Hinsdale, Donald (Linda) Beaver, William (Nancy) Beaver, Paul (Shelvy) Beaver, all of Cuba and a daughter, Margie (George) Rought of Olean; sixteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; brothers William Cousins, Charles (Diane) Cousins and John (Donna) Cousins, a sister; Virginia (Walter) Morris all of Olean. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son Robert Beaver in 2001, a brother Albert Cousins and a sister Margie Gordon. Friends will be received on Tuesday September 9, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday (September 10th) at 11:00 AM. Rev. Ronald Reichman, chaplain at the Olean General Hospital will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
