Ramon E. Osgood
Hinsdale – Ramon E. Osgood, formerly of Hinsdale died Saturday November 5, 2005 at Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Olean, NY on November 18, 1926 he was a son of Lynn and Mildred Brown Osgood. He was raised and brought up by his mother and Henry Osgood. Ramon enjoyed family gatherings and having been raised on a farm, loved animals. He enjoyed the company of the other residents of the Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters Ione Graham and Jessie Borden; three brothers Chester Osgood, Oramel Osgood and Harold Osgood.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean on Wednesday November 9, 2005 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. Frank Hayman, pastor of Allegany Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Hinsdale Cemetery, Maplehurst, NY. Memorials may be made to the Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility or to the SPCA in Cattaraugus County.
