David C. Williams
Cuba – David C. Williams of Route 305 South died Friday December 2, 2005 at his residence. Born in Olean on October 28, 1919 he was a son of Charles and Anna Elling Williams. On October 17, 1965 he married Frances E. Whaley who survives.
Mr. Williams was a lifelong area resident. He was employed in various positions at !VanDerHorst Corporation for forty years prior to his retirement.
In addition to his wife he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Gladys Furnace, Margaret Williams, Catherine Williams, Beatrice Williams and brothers Lester Williams, Ward Foote and Ambrose Foote.
Friends will be received on Monday December 5, 2005 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd. Olean from 1 – 2 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. Bert Tidlund will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
