Ah, Al, how well I remember you as a classmate at OHS all those many, many years ago. Noting that you were a bit older (August, 23 1936 vs. my October 9, 1936), we shared good days together there. I hope the rest of you life was rewarding, happy and fruitful, as well. Rest in peace, Al. Tom.

Mrs. Schifley, Julie, Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of your dad from our childhood. He always made us laugh with his silly songs. He is forever etched in my memory sitting on the front porch. Big Al was the best!

I remember Al was having a yard sale and I wanted to buy his bowling ball bag for my bowling ball. Al said I could only buy it if I took his 3 bowling balls too! I agreed and those balls rolled around my trunk for a couple years before I finally got rid of them!
Such a nice guy and very easy to talk too.
When I hear Thunder in the sky now, I’ll know Al got another strike!
