Obituary of Patricia Capra

Olean, NY- Patricia A. Capra, 90, passed away Friday (October 4, 2024) at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born October 29, 1933, in Olean, she was the daughter of Anthony and Nora Madden Delucio. On August 30, 1952, she married Thomas J. Capra who survives. Pat continued her education to the BOCES School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for St. Francis Hospital and The Cattaraugus County Nursing Home. Pat raised her six children and they always came first. She was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed making breakfast for the family after church. She also enjoyed bingo, garage sales, baking homemade bread, and writing poems. She will be sorely missed by her four legged friend, Carson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 5 children Michael (Rosanne) Capra of Allegany, Greg (Patricia) Capra of Panama City Beach, FL, Thomas (Jeanne) Capra of Bradford, PA, Cindy (Michael) Paar of Hamburg, and Jeffrey (Lisa) Capra of Bradford, PA; 2 sisters Barbara (Benny) Carucci and Donna (John) Dorson; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by 2 special friends, Jean Creco Duggan and Jill Slavinski. She was predeceased by her half sister Mary Ellen Swanson, a daughter Suzanne Capra, daughter-in-law Jeanette Capra, and daughter-in-law Patty Capra. No services are being scheduled at this time. A memorial will be held at a later date with the family.
