I have so many fun memories with Tracy.
When our friendship was new, I remember playing with our Barbies on a cold winter's day at my house. We promised each other that we wouldn't tell anyone that we were playing with dolls, because we thought that we were really too old for it. We were having fun and that's all that mattered, really. Tracy reminded me of that fun day, years later.
In High School, we were cheerleaders for the ACS wrestling team. We had the most fun at the regional tournaments. So many boys to bat those baby blues at. We helped each other pick the cutest boys from other schools that we would try to meet before the day was over.
After high school came the dancing years. Her mom and dad were pretty strict, so Tracy wasn't allowed out at night much. She and I had other ideas about that. I parked in the driveway of what is now that farm market by the railroad tracks. Tracy would sneak out through the kitchen door on the side of her house and jog up the road to meet me. I always worried that her parents would find out. I'm still not sure if they ever knew about that part. We danced at the Jubilation Disco some, but mostly we went to see live bands. Tracy LOVED live bands.
When I moved away, we fell out of touch. We reconnected about 25 or 30 years ago. After that, I made sure that a visit and a hug or two from Tracy was always something I did on my trips back home. I enjoyed chatting on her back porch around the flowers and nature that she loved so much. Sometimes a bottle of wine was involved. There were also many meals at the Beef and Barrel. She really loved that place.
Some things that I learned in those visits was that Tracy deeply loved her family. She was so proud of the mother and good human that Kristi had become. She loved Paige and Ian so much and was so excited about their futures. She also felt that when she and Dave found each other that it was a relationship that was always meant to be. Her eyes just sparkled when she told me the story of how they met. I truly felt the love.
Tracy was one of the most genuine and sweetest people that I have ever known. She rarely, if ever, had a harsh word about others. She just loved and accepted the people around her for who they were. I wish I could be more like that. She was truly an angel on earth. I am so happy and thankful that Tracy was in my life and that we shared many special moments. I will miss and love her always.

Q: What will you miss most about Tracy?
A: May God richly bless the amazing lady who taught us to be a little kinder, a little more patient and a little more loving in this hectic world all while she was suffered immensely. She helped us to slow down and appreciate everything we have as she was a true testament of LOVE to everyone who knew her. ❤️ I will miss her feisty spirit, her compassion for those who mattered most to her and her endearing smile that lit up a room. Rest easy, beautiful lady...it was a privilege knowing you!! ❤

Q: How did you meet Tracy?
A: We met at the Pink Pumpkin Project trip to Niagara Falls. Tracy was so funny. In this picture the guy was flirting with us girls so Tracy and Pearl gave him a kiss and made his day. Tracy always had a smile on her face. She was a inspiration to me. No matter what she was going threw she smiled and kept fighting till the end. R.I.P Tracy.

My memory is at your summer party. Momma like cheetos and Dr. Pepper. I had both. I shared my snacks and we talked about you, Dave, the grandkids. We talked for hours. We all scooted her into our little group of people. She was so funny.

Mom,
I love you for always, I love you forever.
I love you mom. I will always remember our living room dance parties, our last minute road trip adventures, you teaching me how to drive and getting us lost just to make sure I was paying attention so i could get us back home. Our KFC picnics. Last but not least I will always remember how much you loved everyone in your life. You loved big and strong but most of all you loved Paige, Ian, Dave and myself the biggest. You are my kids Nana the best Nana ever.
Keep that beautiful smile, smiling
Love,
Kristi

I met Tracy 10 years ago when we were going through radiation and going to support meetings. We could be found in the parking lot hours after the meeting was over just gabbing away. She was an amazing person.
