LUCY CIMINO LOCHTE OLEAN - Lucy Cimino Lochte of Olean died today, April 9, 2004 in her home surrounded by her family. Born May 31, 1934 in Cooperstown, NY she was a daughter of Giacomo and Maria Flazarano Cimino. She was a graduate of Cooperstown Central School and the Knox School, for Girls - Junior College. She met her husband while working at Basset Hospital as a research grant writer. They lived in Boston, MA and Houston, TX before settling in Olean. She was a resident of Olean for 40 years and was a real estate agent for Pepper and Crandall. Mrs. Lochte was a member of St. John's Church. Lucy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Dr. Harry L. Lochte, Jr.; her three daughters, Elizabeth and her husband Michael Ball and their children, Trevor and Shelby of Spokane, WA, Susan and her husband Jeff Moore and their children, Riley, Davis and Trip of Charlottesville, VA, and Jane and her husband Paul Barry and their children Kelly and Allison of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her sisters, Stella Vagliardo and Madalyn Cimino of Cooperstown and a niece Cynthia Zacharchuk of Cherry Valley, NY. Friends will be received today (April 9, 2004) from 7-9 pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean. A Scriptural Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday April 10, 2004 at St. John's Church at 10:00 am. Msgr. William O. Wangler, pastor will officiate. Burial and committal will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, NY. Memorials may be made to the Olean General Hospital Foundation or to St. John's Church.
