Obituary of Kristina C. Perez

Please share a memory of Kristina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kristina C Perez, 36, passed away Sunday (August 28, 2022) in Tonawanda, NY. Born September 27, 1985, in Olean, she was the daughter of Kathleen Ahl Perez and Robert Perez. Kristina proudly received her high school diploma 11 years after high school, scoring a perfect 800 in math, and graduated fifth in her class at BOCES. Kristina was previously employed as a CNA at Salamanca for five years and later at the Pines in Olean for nine years. Kristina made many friends at work and loved taking care of the elderly, giving them the care, respect, and dignity, they deserved with caring nature. Kristina was also employed for a short time at Sassy’s Truck Stop. Kristina enjoyed traveling and taking care of friends and family, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was crafty with her cricket, designing masks at the beginning of Covid and creating many specialty designs for her loved ones. She loved all things Buffa-Love and Buffalo Bills. She was a bow hunter and was proud to have gotten a buck in her first year of hunting. Kristina loved all things outdoors, including fishing, gardening, or picking flowers with her girls. She loved to find special keepsakes which she thought others would love to have and just because she thought of someone that day. Kristina was a survivor. She came through many tragedies and fought addiction daily. She was proud of herself as she had been clean for a year and started connecting and making amends with loved ones. She was planning for a bright future of spending time with her family and two daughters. She was proud of her Monk and Mimi and would attend as many of their games and activities as she could. She was excited to be a Hinsdale Headliner color guard Mom, cheering them on from the bleachers at shows. Kristina made friends easily and kept them close to her heart, with most of those lasting a lifetime. Family ties were what kept her going. She is survived by her parents, Kathleen Perez of Olean and Robert (Robin) Perez of Bolivar; her two beloved daughters Makayla Perez-Morales and Mia Kellogg, and bonus daughter Bailey Morales; two sisters Amanda (Brad Kosciol) Perez of Rochester and Samantha ( Lawrence) Thompson of Richburg; two brothers Aaron Robertson of Mississippi and Zachary Perez of Bolivar; two aunts Becky (Dan) Bosko of Virginia, and Moira Ahl of Bolivar and one uncle, Sean Ahl of Bolivar. Kristina loved her five nephews Caden, Brady, Mason, Abram, and Deklin, and one niece Violet. Also, she leaves behind the fathers of her children Mykel Morales and Aaron Kellogg, and several cousins and friends throughout the United States, Ireland, and England. Kristina was predeceased by her beloved maternal grandparents Donald “Gunky” and Deirdre “Noon” Ahl; paternal grandparents Anita “Gram-Nita” and Cyrus Bissell; two uncles D. Michael “Minnie” Ahl and Timothy “Big Tim” Ahl, and one aunt Sue “Uncle Susal” Ahl. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (September 6, 2022) from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A memorial service will begin at 4 pm in the funeral home. Memorials if desired may be made to EARS, P.O.
