Cheryl M. Peterson
Allegany, NY Cheryl M. Peterson, 55, of 2936 Five Mile Rd., passed away Sunday (August 21, 2022) in Erie, PA after a long illness.
Born June 3, 1967 in Olean, she was the daughter of William A. and Sharon A. Bowen Peterson.
Cheryl was a lifelong resident of the Olean and Allegany areas and worked over 25 years for Perkins Restaurant in Olean. She enjoyed her family, her dog, the outdoors, and the simple pleasure of shopping.
She leaves behind 2 sisters, Patti J. Smith of Olean and Karen Peterson of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Debra Leonard, and a brother-in-law Michael Smith.
At Cheryl’s request, no visitation or funeral service will be observed.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the SPCA of Cattaraugus County, 2944 Olean-Hinsdale Rd., Olean, NY 14760.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
