FRED SMITH
SMETHPORT - Fred Smith, formerly of Olean and Hinsdale died Wednesday April 21, 2004 at the Lakeview Senior Care and Living Center, Smethport. Born in Ellicottville, NY on April 26, 1912 he was the son of Fred and Ellie Smith. He was employed as a farmer and a roustabout for many years prior to retiring.
There will be no public visitations. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday April 30, 2004 at 3:15 PM at the Lakeview Senior Care and Living Center, 15 East Willow Street, Smethport. Rev. Bruce Moses will officiate. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
