Olean, NY- Margie E. Collins, 61, of Front Street passed away Friday (May 6, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital after a brief illness. Born February 10,1961 in Olean, she was the daughter of Clarence and Genevieve Burrow Collins. Margie attended Olean High School and was employed at SubCon Industries for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed going to garage sales looking for trinkets, playing the lottery, and playing card games. Margie loved to help others and valued her many friendship. She would often send cards to many of her friends. Margie will be sorely missed by her kitty “Precious” whom she enjoyed spoiling. Surviving is a sister Judy Boyles of Bradford, 2 brothers Terry Collins of Olean, Stephens Collins of Jamestown; nieces Jamie Collins, Johanna Baker, and Christie Baker, all of Bradford, PA and many friends and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving companion, Shelly Helman, July 17, 2016 and her brothers Roy Collins in 2015 and Ronald Collins in 2020. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced soon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral.
