Obituary of Justin R. Harris

Justin Robert Harris Olean, NY Justin Robert Harris, 34, of 126 S. 5th St., passed away unexpectedly Saturday (March 26, 2022). Born September 11, 1987 in Olean, he was the son of Susanne Harris and Robert A. Roulo. He was raised in Florida by his mother Susanne and by his stepfather Grant Samuels. At the age of 18 Justin and his mother moved from Florida to Olean where he began working for Tractor Supply Co. He transferred with Tractor Supply to a location in Okeechobee, FL and lived there for 9 years. He returned to Olean 2 years ago and had been working as an installation technician for Twin Tiers Overhead Doors, Inc. Shortly after returning to this area, he met and became engaged to Erin Hitchcock. Justin loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He treasured spending time with his children and his 4 dogs, and 2 cats and he enjoyed relaxing in his future mother-in-law’s hot tub. He belonged to the Weston Mills Fire Department prior to moving to Florida and for the Hinsdale Fire Department after his most recent move to Olean. He leaves behind his fiancé Erin Hitchcock of Olean; his mother Susanne Harris of Olean; his 3 sons Hunter Harris of Florida and Tucker Harris and Austin Harris, both of Olean; his siblings Chad Samuels of Florida, Kyle Roulo of Black Creek, and Zeke Roulo of Rushford; his stepfather Grant Samuels of Inverness, FL and several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his birth father Robert Roulo on February 15, 2022. Friends will be received by family on Monday (April 4, 2022) from 5-7pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd., Olean. A memorial service will begin at 7pm in the funeral home. Rev. Terry Jenks, Hinsdale Fire Department Chaplain, will officiate.
