Obituary of Joyce M. Osborne

Joyce M. Osborne Olean, NY Joyce M. Osborne, of 301 W. Henley St., passed away Wednesday (December 29, 2021) at the Olean General Hospital. Born April 22, 1929 in Olean, she was the daughter of Carl and Doris Steffenhagen Hamm. She was married to Floyd Stephan who predeceased her. She later married Donald Osborne who also predeceased her. Joyce was a graduate of Allegany High School. She worked for both the former Grants Department Store and Grant City. She later worked for AM & A’s Department Store in Olean which later became BonTon prior to her retirement. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who loved taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, watching the birds, doing jigsaw puzzles, and reading. She also was an avid sports fan. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Lynda Stephan of Cuba, Donna Jennings of Freeport, FL and Sally Osborne and Lisa Razzano, both of Berwyn, IL; 2 grandchildren Erika (Josh) Tarr and Gary (Jessica) Jennings; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister Christine Bailey of California; 1 brother Andrew Hamm of Olean and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law Milt Bailey. The family is planning for a Celebration of Life service for later in 2022.
