WILLIAM J. GEORGE, Jr.
PLATTSBURGH – William J. "Bill" George, Jr. a resident of Cedarwood Lane and formerly of Olean died Friday May 28, 2004 at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, VT. Born in Buffalo, NY on June 1, 1974 he was a son of William J. and Mary L. Goodwin George, Sr.
He was a graduate of Olean High School and was recently attending college. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar.
He is survived by both parents of Olean, his fiancé Nicola Crawford of Plattsburgh; brother Aaron K. George; sisters Aubrey L. George and Danielle (Steve) Kiehler; paternal grandfather Norman George, all of Olean and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Gertrude George and maternal grandparents Francis and Jean Goodwin.
Friends will be received on Wednesday June 2, 2004 from 7-9 PM at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday June 3, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Jerome Stelmach, pastor of Transfiguration Church will officiate. Burial and committal services will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
