Obituary of Irene M. Hamilton

IRENE M. HAMILTON COUDERSPORT – Irene M. Hamilton, a resident of Sweden Valley Manor and formerly of Olean died Monday May 31, 2004 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born in Nachusa, Ill on July 10, 1927 she was a daughter of Joseph and Emma Landis Johnson. On August 5, 1968 in Olean she married Robert C. Hamilton who predeceased her March 9, 1993. Mrs. Hamilton was employed as a seamstress and a house keeper prior to her retirement. She is survived by a sister Helen Pitts of Lutz, FL and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a half brother, Lester Landis. There will be no public visitations. Friends atre invited to attend a graveside service on Friday June 4, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Mt. View Cemetery. Rev. David Johnson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
