Obituary of Joyce A. Lane

Joyce A. Lane Olean, NY-- Joyce A. Lane, a former resident of 224 Winters Ave. and of Brookside Community Apts. died Sunday (June 6, 2004) in The Pines of Olean. Born June 2, 1928 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Theodore M. and Veronica E. O’Donnell Godfrey. Mrs. Lane was a graduate of Olean High School and had resided in Manhasset, LI for many years prior to returning to her family home on Winters Ave. in Olean. She later resided at Brookside Community Apts. in Olean prior to her admission to the Pines. She enjoyed being with her family and especially enjoyed animals. Surviving are 3 daughters Elizabeth (Eric) Bender of Bethel, CT, Karen !McCormick of Westport, CT and Anne (Mark) Mulvaney of Santa Fe, NM; one son James Lane of Westport, CT; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Lolette Smith and Ann Neff. There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Friends of The Pines 2245 W. State St. Olean, NY 14760. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
