Obituary of Anna K. Snyder

Anna K. Snyder "former Olean resident" Mayville, NY--Anna K. Snyder of 5861 Snug Harbor Rd., formerly of Olean died Tuesday (June 29, 2004) in St. Vincent Medical Center, Erie, Pa after a short illness. Born January 28, 1922 in Bradford, PA she was the daughter of William F. Kraft and Inez Carl Kraft. On March 15, 1941 in Olean, NY she married Frank H. Snyder who predeceased her May 4, 1994. Mrs. Snyder owned and operated Ann’s Ceramics in Mayville for 16 years. She was also a member of the Chautauqua Fire Dept. Auxiliary, the Mayville VFW Auxiliary and the Jamestown Harmony Express Barbershop Auxiliary. While she lived in Olean she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one son Frank William "Bill" (Marcia) Snyder of Olean; one daughter Rosemary Snyder of Mayville; 2 granddaughters Theresa (Henry) Hoadley of East Lansing, MI and Jennifer Manwarren of Olean and one great grandson Dustin Manwarren. In addition to her husband, her mother and her father, she was predeceased by a stepmother Teresa Kraft. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral and committal services will be held Saturday (July 3, 2004) at 2:00pm in the funeral home. Dr. Anthony L. Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
