June H. Kellogg "loving mother and grandmother" Belfast, NY-- June H. Kellogg, 79, of 7195 County Route 26 died Saturday (August 21, 2004) in her home after a long illness. Born December 1, 1925 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of John Edward and Nellie M. Lockwood Clark. She was married to Dean Kellogg who predeceased her. Mrs. Kellogg was a graduate of Olean High School and had worked as an aide at Olean General Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Olean and had recently been residing at the home of her daughter in Belfast. She enjoyed gardening, feeding and watching birds, and she especially enjoyed animals. Surviving are three daughters Barbara (Joseph Hughes) Kellogg of Belfast, Julie Kellogg and Sandra Black, both of Covington, GA; one son Larry Kellogg of Texas; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two brothers Gerald (Nadine) Clark of Olean, John (Cindy) Clark of Bradford, PA; three sisters Patricia ("Strick") Strickland of High Point, NC, Jean Haggerty of Allegany and Nancy !McGranaghan of Cuba and several nieces and nephews. Friends may attend a memorial visitation on Tuesday (August 24, 2004) from 12:30pm until 1:30pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A memorial service will follow at 1:30pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Day Services 100 Chamberlain St. Wellsville, NY 14895.
