Nancy A. Wilcox of 350 Front St. died peacefully Sunday (December 31, 2017) in the Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a short illness.

 

Born December 23, 1942 in Olean she was the daughter of Norman and Evelyn Miller Wilcox.

 

Nancy was a lifelong resident of Olean.  She enjoyed the company of family and friends, and found particular joy in the company of her many cats over the years.  She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loved to play bingo, and enjoyed attending church dinners. Nancy will be missed by her friends at Allegany Baptist Church and Obi Community Church as well as her friends and neighbors on 2nd Avenue in Olean.

 

A memorial service and dinner will be held on Friday (January 19, 2018) at 6 PM at Allegany Baptist Church, 3236 Maple Ave., Allegany, NY.  Rev. Jonathan Colby, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
