Clara J. Grabbitt
Olean, NY Clara J. Grabbitt, of Olean, died Wednesday (March 1, 2017) at Olean General Hospital.
Born April 30, 1934 in Olean she was the daughter of John Francis and Myrtle Anna Johnson Halliday.
Clara was a graduate of Olean High School and had been employed by the New York Telephone Co. in Olean. She enjoyed the YMCA and found joy in sewing and gardening.
Surviving are a daughter Deborah L. Sweet of Niagara Falls; 2 grandsons Amos Sweet and Joshua (Tara) Sweet; 4 great grandchildren Jeremiah, Samuel, Stella and Violet and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Monday (March 6, 2017) from 7-8pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA of Cattaraugus County, PO Box 375, Olean, NY 14760.
