Phil (Cookie) was a true and Loving friend from 1st grade. We were in the Boardmanville gang. The gang was always busy but never getting into serious trouble.
Cookie was always special, a story will illustrate this. It was winter and we were hanging around the avenues. A 10 year old (Cookie was about 13) threw a snowball at him. The CHASE was on, for most of us, if the kid got to his porch he was SAFE. Not for Phil he chased him on to the porch and to our surprise right into the House. Needless to say the 10 year old never threw a snowball at Phil again!
I have hundreds of stories of Phil that will keep him in my memory for the rest of my life.
I will miss him and his humor. I pray for his family in this time of pain and loss. He is now in heaven with that "Phil Twinkle" in his eye, out of pain and waiting for the rest of us to join him.

So sorry for your loss. As a child I remember him being a big tease he could make you laugh so hard at yourself I just loved him. He will always be Cookie to me. I'll always remember the story of how he actually got into the air force by eating bananas all weekend to gain the weight. The greatest thing of all is his love of Jesus. Right now there's no more pain there's no more cancer, he's dancing with Jesus Hallelujah

Aunt Aline my heart hurts for all of you. I loved Uncle Phil so much, there was never a dull moment with him. He always had that amazing smile and always made anyone around him smile. The world just won't be the same without him. I'm so very sorry for your loss I wish I lived closer so I could be there. I know you are in good hands, just know I love you and wish I could give you a big hug.
