Aunt Lola and Family, Thinking of you all from Colorado. I will always have fond memories of Uncle Ron and your summer parties up on the farm. One of my earliest memories with him was helping to make hay one summer even though I wasn't big enough to carry the bales myself, so I'm not sure how much help I really was, but he let me tag along none the less. I also want to express my gratitude for hosting my son's during their summer trips back home with Grandma and Grandpa. Your hospitality has provided them the opportunity to see the environment in which I grew up and experience all the love and kindness that an extended family has to offer.

We had the distinct pleasure of knowing Popio and enjoyed the too few times we were able to sit and talk with him. He had such stories and I don't know of anyone who loved his family and extended family as much as he did. He will be missed by all who knew him but heaven has now gained a true gentleman and friend. We'll meet you again someday!

I moved away from the area in 1978 but whenever I returned to see friends and family I always stopped to visit the farm with his father and mother while they lived, and with Ron and Lola thereafter. They were more than relatives, they were friends, a more peaceful and warm time than those visits I cannot imagine.
