Obituary of Ellsworth "Mike" Clark

Ellsworth B. "Mike" Clark Sparks, NV Ellsworth B. "Mike" Clark of 855 Promedio Court died unexpectedly Wednesday (August 3, 2016) while vacationing in Allegany and to attend his annual high school reunion. Born November 18, 1937 in Allegany he was the son of Russell and Donna Bennett Clark. Mike was an Allegany native who graduated from Allegany Central School and worked for years for his father in the paving business. He lived in the Reno, NV area for much of his working life and retired from the construction business, most recently Clark Construction Co. He used to enjoy racing stock cars and was always a fun-loving person with many friends whom he held dear. He also was a 52-year member of the Masonic Lodge in Olean. His children are grateful to his friends in Allegany who welcomed his visits each year and who took care of the difficult but necessary arrangements following his sudden death. He is survived by a loving family who will miss him dearly, including 3 children Michael (April) Clark and their children Joey and Gabby, Mark (Tammy) Clark and their children Kyle and Taylor and Melissa (Anthony) Edwards, all of Reno, NV; 2 brothers Duane Clark of Allegany and Fred (Jackie) Clark of Clearwater, FL and several nieces and nephews. The family is scheduling services for a later date. The Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean is assisting the family at this time.
