Olean- Ellen M. Prince of Olean, died March 5, 2016 at the Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean.
Born April 3, 1945 in Canton, OH, she was the daughter of Ernest and Virginia Burkes Gause. She married Edward Prince, Sr., who predeceased her. Mrs. Prince worked for many years at the University of Buffalo, before moving to Olean.
Surviving is one son Edward Prince, Jr. of Olean.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (March 15, 2016) at 1:30pm at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
