Obituary of Donald E. Johnson

Donald E. Johnson Salamanca, NY Donald E. Johnson, of Salamanca, passed away Tuesday (February 9, 2016) at the Absolut of Salamanca. Born December 4, 1937 in Salamanca he was the son of Albert and Agnes Russet Johnson. He was married to Donna Dowiasz who survives. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Salamanca High School and served with the US Army from 1955 to 1958. He had been employed as a clerk in the railroad business in Salamanca prior to his retirement. He more recently was a member of St. Bonaventure Parish in Allegany. He was a Buffalo Bills football fan and he loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Surviving besides his wife are a sister Lois Johnson Trace of Frisco, Texas and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Johnson. Friends are welcome to attend a funeral service to be held Wednesday (February 17, 2016) at 10:30am in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Rev.
