Mark E. Inman "avid chess player" Allegany, NY-- Mark E. Inman of 27 N. Fourth St. died Friday (November 19, 2004) in his home after a long illness. Born December 4, 1953 in Olean, NY he was the son of Richard and Doreen Clark Inman. On March 10, 1973 in Olean he married Michelle M. Dieteman who survives. Mr. Inman had lived in England as a youth for a few years and had resided in Olean most of his life, having graduated from Olean High School. He had been employed for Cooper Power Systems in Olean for the past twenty six years. He was an avid chess player and he loved listening to classical music. Surviving besides his wife are his father and stepmother Richard and Betty Inman of Martinsville, IN; one son Mark J. Inman of Allegany; one daughter Samantha D. Inman of Allegany; a twin brother Mike (Denise) Inman of Dansville, NY; a sister Sharon (Dave) Inman of Portville, NY; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and family members living in England and Australia. He was predeceased by his mother. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A memorial service will be held Tuesday (November 23, 2004) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Allegany Fire Department.
