Obituary of Cherie L. Pittman

Cherie L. Pittman Allegany, NY Cherie L. Pittman of Colonial Village passed away Wednesday (October 28, 2015) at the Olean General Hospital. Born June 24, 1942 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Frank and Adelma Marshall. She was married to William A. Pittman who survives. Cherie was a graduate of Olean High School and had worked for 17 years at St. Bonaventure University for the food service department. She was a member of the Allegany American Legion Auxiliary and she enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at her feeders. Surviving besides her husband are 1 son Timothy (Robin) Parrish of Wichita, TX; 1 stepdaughter Maria (Jason Magara) Pittman of Allegany; 6 grandchildren Ryan Ullman, Jailynn Magara, Elisa Rivard, Logan Parrish and twins Connor Parrish and Cameron Parrish; 10 great grandchildren including Braeley Ullman and Braden Ullman; 1 brother Richard Marshall of Olean; 3 sisters Sanni, Mary Jean and Allison and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Byron Marshall and Craig Marshall. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will be held Saturday (October 31, 2015) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Rev. Millard Cook, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Olean, will officiate.
