Was devastated to learn of Judy's death. I have such fond memories of her during my years in Ellicottville. She was beloved by her students ... some of whom manifested their affection by putting her Volkswagen in the Humphrey creek. Her laugh was infectious.
Sincere condolences to Mike, Emily and her family.

Mrs Judy,
The gift you gave me surpasses anything I could ever say or give back. Though I only met you a brief moment in my teenage years, you brought an amazing daughter into the world that has left an impact on so many. Where in the world could she have gotten that from?! The foundation that you and your husband created for her, has not only shaped her but saved a couple of lives...including mine. I light this candle only as a symbol that your light will never go out. The ripple effect has already taken place. This is just your moment to sit back, relax and watch the waves of possibilities and love fill the world.
Thank you.

Mike and Emily,
I was sorry to hear that Judy had passed. My sister-in-law, Sheila Wagoner came down for the funeral, and stayed at our home.
I had cleaned for you when you lived in Salamanca. Judy had breast cancer at that time. She was adamant about regular screenings to me. I met your daughter Emily as well, she is a beautiful woman!
Judy was a wonderful, thoughtful person with a beautiful smile! Praying for you.

Perhaps one of the most influential people in my life when I was at Randolph Central School was Mrs. Judy Chiariello. She was my guidance counselor, but to me she was much more than that. She listened to me and helped me through many personal problems in high school. I spent hours and hours in her office, and she encouraged me to become involved in Youth to Youth, which was a drug and alcohol prevention program for teens. She also convinced me to join the Role Players group, a teen acting program whose skits and program focus was also similar to those of Y2Y. It's an understatement to say she helped me develop my self esteem, instilled leadership skills in me, helped me overcome many of the problems I faced in high school, and shaped my desire to help others with problems. You were a wonderful person, Mrs. Chiariello... and I will always remember you and the impact you had on my life.
My deepest condolences to Michael and Emily...

I understand how sad you and Emily feel for the loss of Judy.I hope the future allows us to communicate and see each other. "Time goes by much too quickly."

Mrs.Chiariello was my guidance counselor at Randolph Junior/ Senior and she was the one that kept pointing me to some of the classes I knew I would not like. It took me a long time to figure out why. To this day I would never be able to thank her enough. The heavens gained a very bright star. She will be truly missed by every life she touched.
