Gloria J. Greatwood
Olean, NY-Gloria J. Greatwood, formerly of N. 5th St. and Eden Heights died Sunday (January 11, 2009) in The Pines in Machias.
Born August 6, 1928 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Harry D. and Dorothy Larson Greatwood.
Miss Greatwood was a graduate of Olean High School and had resided in Olean all of her life. She had been employed as a secretary for the Olean Public Library prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Olean and also was a member of the YMCA.
Surviving is one brother Richard N. Greatwood of Orlando.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden at the Church of St. Luke in Orlando. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
