Obituary of Delores Sieta

Delores Sieta Allegany, NY Delores Sieta of Allegany, formerly of Eden Heights, passed away Sunday (January 25, 2015) at The Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean. Born September 17, 1929 in Jamestown she was the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara Praino Ditonto. She was married to Charles Sieta who predeceased her April 29, 2002. Mrs. Sieta was a graduate of Jamestown High School. She worked for the former Acme Electric Co. in Allegany and retired in the 1980's. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas with her husband and family. She also enjoyed playing cards and going to bingo. Surviving are a daughter Barbara (Steve) Piccirillo of Allegany; 2 grandsons Charles A. Piccirillo of Boston and Stephen Piccirillo of Jamestown; 3 brothers Alex (Eve) Ditonto of Chautauqua, Richard (Beverly) Ditonto of Hinsdale and Joseph (Theresa) Ditonto of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews and 4 sisters-in-law Joan Ditonto, Rose Julian, Mamie Edwards and Virginia Ilardo. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 2 brothers Lawrence Ditonto, Jr. and Dominic Ditonto. Friends will be received on Saturday (January 31, 2015) from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A prayer service will begin at 12:30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm at St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. James Vacco, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamestown. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Bonaventure Church.
